The Château RIO-TORD, has been situated within 94 hectares of the family domain for the last four generations. It is located in the heart of Provence near Cannet des Maures, 30km from the sea and St Tropez. 50 of the hectares are a vineyard, 38 of which comprises of the Cotes de Provence AOC and 12 hectares as Vin de Pays des Maures.
This Rosé is elegant with sparkling color and a pink salmon reflection. The nose offers a luxurious aroma of fruit with white and yellow flesh. The body is both rich and cool. There is a complex wine with a good balance of length in the palate. This wine makes an ideal aperitif or can accompany shellfish, grilled fish or white meat.

General description : A wine made to slake a thirst that is especially enjoyable for the fruity flavours present throughout the tasting.
Soil : silt and clay
Vine : Grenache, Syrah
Tasting notes :
- Eye : rosewood
- Nose : classy with aromas of small red fruits slightly acid combined with a mineral note
- Palate : fresh and sensual, with lemon and fresh fruits note: a round substance final.
Alcohol % by Vol : 13%
Tips on service : serve at 10° to 12°C
Food and wine matching : Serve as an aperitif with tapenades and anchovy, with brochette and grilled bass, Niçoise and Ceasar salads, with fresh or warm goat's cheese and bacon.
